Vusal Gasimlu, Executive Director of the Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication received the delegation headed by Tunc Uyanik, executive director pf the Wold SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) Forum. During the meeting, the executive dirtector of the World SME Forum delivered the forum’s proposals on cooperation with the CAERC and the interest to study the experience of the Azexport portal.
The delegation headed by Tunc Uyanik discussed the portal in the previous meeting where he was given detailed information on the functionality of the portal, logistic companies and payment systems.
During this meeting, Vusal Gasimli, executive director of CAERC informed the delegation on the Digital Trade Hub launched by the Decree of the President Ilham Aliyev. He further added that the Digital Trade Hub will provide the unified export window, which will facilitate Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to carry out export procedures much faster employing fewer resources. The Digital Trade Hub will also ensure the mutual recognition of both the digital wallet and electronic signatures, which will contribute to ease of contacts of Azerbaijan entrepreneurs with foreign partners.
Tunc Uyanik, executive director of the World SME Forum creation of this digital hub will further strengthen Azerbaijan position as a leader digital country while also expanding the scope of foreign trade transactions. The head of the forum evaluated both the Digital Trade Hub and Azexport portal as unique resources for world entrepreneurs.
At the end, both organizations agreed on working in CAERC to study the experience of Azexportal.
