A researcher of India's "Global South Development Magazine" Hriday Sarma, who also conducts researches at the Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, has published an article titled "International North-South Transportation Corridor: necessitating investments in transit states". Giving detailed information about the International North-South Transportation Corridor, the opportunities of the corridor are analyzed in the article. The author writes that, the International North-South Transportation Corridor will create opportunities for Russia, Caspian and Central Asian regions to gain access to the Persian Gulf and India, and commercial relationships between the Black Sea ports and Caspian region countries will be intensified. This corridor will increase the revenues of local and transit transportation between Europe, South Asia and Middle East.
The author of the article Hriday Sarma conducts scientific researches on the topic of "Development of the North-South Transportation Corridor and Azerbaijan" at the Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication under "the Researches Exchange Program".
