On 6-7 April, 2017, Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) hosted training on requirements for food products producers and suppliers. During his opening speech, Vusal Gasimli, executive director of the CAERC stated that a a section called “Azerbaijan Digital Trade Hub” is created in www.azexport.az internet portal to promote the export: “Goal of the training on requirements for food products producers and suppliers is to contribute to reforms carried out in the country by increasing access of local goods to traditional and new markets and accelerating integration into international markets.”
Within the event, the participants were informed about main principles applied in connection with food products in global markets, as well as laws and regulations governing export of food products to the European Union framework.
Training was provided by the experts of British Standards Institute, one of the most popular certification organization around the world and “AQS Group”, the authorized representative of the Institute in Caspian countries. The training was provided by Mahmud Albekov, international auditor and expert of the British Standards Institute.
All graduates of the training will be awarded the certificate of the British Standards Institute. 2 days training will be held in Russian with participation of representatives of more than 30 private companies.
